Getting Things Together

I'm getting things together, so I wonder why you ask,

If I am as organized as I am suppose to be or to be taken to task;

When things don’t go your way and you have to start getting things together,

Then things will start to fall into place once find the problem and get her.

Now the picture s quite perfect when you get everything together,

When you find the missing pieces and group what’s gone astray in weather;

And whether you can really have it all or just find time to rhyme,

And learn to live and love life when getting things together and in line.

And I look out to the distance where the future is so grey,

Though I’ve got the time to get there it still might take all day;

To see clearly where I'm going from everywhere I’ve come so far,

That when you're getting things together you will really be a star.

And it's a pretty little situation when things work out alright,

When you're getting things together and you see them in truth and light;

For who can paint a rainbow without a beginning or an end,

And who can get it all together but God you're eternal friend.

Well when you're getting things together, things come together,

And everything starts to fit in place and work out in the weather;

So you can see clearly where you're going and get there in the end,

for the direction and the goal is the aim of the plan to lend.

For when you look out up above you to where God eternally sits,

There is no hope of losing if you will keep the focus and not quit;

And when you're getting things together don’t turn your heart back to sin,

But keep going forward getting things together so that in God you win.
