The Future Of Hope

On the beach of toil and woe,
Where the waves crush in and break in row;
And leave a trail as of the sands of time,
The line is written in future hope and memory rhyme.

The future of hope then stands alone my friend,
As in these words of love will my heart depend;
For the joy of the living is for those who die,
Who go up to heaven and are yet left to lie.

For the future of hope is unknown to all,
Unless you have travelled around the whole small ball;
And then there is paradise you meet with God,
Who knew your heart and beat all the sin you were odd.

And now dear father I look up above to thee,
Who brought me up and sat me upon his knew;
For who in life could know more answers than this,
Than to be called his precious child with a goodnight kiss.

Now as I remember all the things that I knew,
And all the love of days in childhood I grew;
I think back now to just one more special time,
To those waves on the beach and lives in rhyme.

For as I run along the same with ocean surf,
The lines of time remind my memory as to be a server;
For those precious hours of days gone bye,
And in each footstep of my soul and dye.

Signed,

My heart must go on
