A lack of faith for nothing,
Is just a little something;
It's a something that might hurt you,
It's a something that might come true.
A lack of faith for something,
Would be a better idea than nothing;
Because the faith that was the lacking,
Is the truth in time you're tracking.
I'd rather not lack faith for anything,
For someone else might be needing;
But the lack of faith I'm losing,
Is for somebody else to be leading.
A lack of faith for reading,
Means that somebody else must be heading;
Because the time that I put my faith in,
Is the money my faith wouldn't win with.
But if I put my faith in the money to win,
My faith would still really be lacking;
But because I loved and trusted God,
My faith will be something to win with.
So why did I have a lack of faith for nothing,
When I was really just really lacking something;
But as I did not know what I was lacking,
I need to put my faith in God for something.
