Brighter than the morning sun, more golden than the crown,
More glorious than the fields of flowers, more beautiful than space;
More brilliant than the brightest day, more sober than the two poles,
More wonderful than understanding is the radiance in the face of God.
Like the Sheconia glory and the gloriousness of the light of day,
Is the heaven in the face of God and the mind beyond the power of man;
The radiance of the face of God is past all human comprehension,
It goes beyond all else on earth to the world of heavens wondrous land.
Like the beauty of the heart and balance to draw the sword and fight,
Is the radiance in the face of God through Christ’s mighty eternal light;
Beyond the sovereignty of men and women and children go to school,
Is the mighty majestic thought of the radiance in the face of God to rule.
More destructive and awesomeness is the beat to beat his will and mind,
That his heart is the perfection of the radiance in the face of God;
Untimely to be wise enough is the strength of his mighty hand save,
To reach out in his omnipotent judgment to take the life back that he gave.
In the weakness of the human soul to look up to the radiance of God,
To look full into his awesome face and cower and real and feel odd;
Beyond the capabilities and human thought is his mighty power and strength,
That the radiance in the face of God is picture perfect and rich.
Radiance in and of the face of God is more than I can think or rhyme,
And all I ever asked of him is to live and live and love all for a long time;
And I couldn’t know better or ask to have anymore in life than I want,
But to look into his radiance to his face full of love and faith to glow.
