Jobs And Money

I started out poor and got me a job,
And earnt plenty of money I didn't have to rob;
Got off the streets and made it out of school,
And met some new people who played by the rule.

As time went on I worked my way up,
And climbed the ladder and won on the cup;
But things got bad as I aimed to high,
That left me out standing all tired and dry.

So now if you ask me what I want to do for a job,
I say I will consider it for just a few bob;
But the problems not that I can't get what I need,
It's being able to cope and seeing to read.

Let's forget about security because that's hard to find,
And try to remember to find peace of mind;
Money maybe something we can't not have time for,
But the job that requires you demands on the bit sure.
