Into Space

Into space on a rocket to live and play,

Going off on a rocket to love I pray;

Up to the stars where space is so high,

Up to the heavens where the atmosphere leaves the sky.

.

Into space for the feeling of the highest kind of beauty,

The experience of a lifetime to live out my duty;

Where I leave behind the scent and smell of the rose,

To rise up above everything and follow my nose where it goes.

.

Into space where it takes a lifetime to live in eternity,

Where the earth is down below and has the weight of infinity;

And the thunder and rain with lightning flash and bang,

Love is in the universe with the sun shining through brilliant blue.

.

Into space where she grants me my every desire,

The children and the future for the treasure to aspire;

So when the time is all done and the air is all fair,

It's gone out of range and you care not danger but dare.

.

Into space where the organization is at the hands of God,

Far flung out in the distance beyond everything odd;

And the trace of the face is in the twinkling of an eye,

Where I have to look for it and where the good go to die.

.

Into space to travel far out and beyond anything yet known,

Where the sky sits in paradise with the crown is on the thrown;

And what's tragic is magic in discovering that it is yet to find,

When you are past the point of return and only coming back in mind.

.

Signed,

Sending and riding on a dream
