We believe in God because our God is good,

We trust in our heart as we really should;

To hold onto the truth for us is to know,

The purpose of life and for our souls to grow.

We believe in what is right and is pure and gold,

As we age and mature and become very old;

For the word is as strong as heaven above,

Like all of God's goodness and all of His love.

We believe in Him in hope of good things to come,

With grace and with beauty for our earthly sum;

For a person receives what the heart can believe,

As long as you trust and will dare to conceive.

With all of creation just as glorious as it is,

We still find trouble in determining what is his;

Like the rain falls down to water the ground,

The earth is a place where believers are found.

My heart knows no torment and my head knows no fear,

As long as I follow and in God do I hear;

For love is fulfilment of what we know will appear,

As in life it is sweet to die and draw near.
