Is it love of excellence we endeavour to seek?

Are we fantastic or a bit humble and meek?

Passion is a quality for all to implore,

Like your backing a winner and you know that your sure.

Now let's not wonder what's around the next corner,

But have passion for things and make people warmer;

For people will blow it and some come unstuck,

But if your heart is still beating you've still got some luck.

Passion is like desire and an unquenchable thirst,

It's not made for losers or when your down at your worst;

But passion is right for the things we do best,

Whether you're throwing a party or an invited guest.

Passion is for winning and yes you can have it,

By trying your hardest, not quitting but staying fit;

It comes from within and shows on the surface,

And is like a heart filled with fire that is fashioned to serve us.

Now it's hard to know when you think you've gone too far,

For passion needs energy like a bright burning star?

Now hang up your clothes when the day's dead and done,

So this passion will drive you to endure till you've won.

Do you think you can make it all alone on your own?

Without having passion down deep to the bone;

Now it's nice to have passion that's tender and real,

But the passion that I want is as red hot as steel.
